Clinical Research Coordinator Location: St. Louis, MO Role Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator supports the execution of IRB approved clinical trial protocols, managing patient screening, enrollment, and clinic visits while performing direct patient care duties such as consenting, blood draws, and medication administration. This role requires strong attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and clear communication with PIs, sponsors, and monitors to keep studies on track. Duties • Identify, screen, randomize, and enroll patients according to protocol requirements • Conduct clinic visits and manage day to day study activities • Perform and assist with direct patient care including consenting, physical assessments, blood draws, medication administration, and ECGs • Maintain clean, accurate data entry and eSource documentation for assigned studies • Track and report adverse events and serious adverse events in a timely manner • Prepare and submit responses to IRB queries and audit findings • Support efficient study setup, maintenance, and closeout • Communicate proactively with the research team, PIs, sponsors, and monitors to build strong working relationships • Ensure strict adherence to protocol requirements and all applicable regulatory standards Requirements • 1+ year of clinical research experience • Strong interest in direct patient interaction and patient care • Experience with or working knowledge of clinical trial procedures preferred • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple protocols and priorities at once • Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of assigned studies and patients • Comfortable learning and using new technologies to improve daily workflow • Interest in therapeutic areas such as Gastroenterology, Urology, Dermatology, and/or Oncology is a plus
