Job Title: Clinical Research Physician – Neurology Contract Length: 6–12 Month Contract Location: Fully Remote Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 10 Hours per Week Start Date: August 10 or August 17 Compensation: $150-200/hr Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Physician – Neurology to support early-stage clinical development programs for an innovative pharmaceutical organization. This is a flexible, fully remote consulting opportunity for a physician with industry experience who is passionate about advancing new therapies through strategic clinical development. In this role, you will help shape clinical development strategy, design Phase I and Phase II clinical studies, and provide scientific leadership to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in pharmaceutical or biotechnology drug development and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment. Key Responsibilities Provide medical and scientific leadership for early-stage clinical development programs, primarily Phase I and Phase II studies. Partner with cross-functional teams to design and optimize first-in-human and early proof-of-concept clinical trials. Contribute to clinical development plans, protocol strategy, and overall asset development. Provide scientific guidance on clinical, regulatory, and development-related decisions throughout the drug development lifecycle. Apply neurology expertise while contributing strategically across multiple research programs when needed. Collaborate closely with Clinical Research, Translational Medicine, Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, and other development teams. Support multiple consulting engagements and priorities in a dynamic R&D environment. Provide limited medical monitoring support as needed, although this is not the primary focus of the role. Required Qualifications MD or DO with board certification (or equivalent international medical degree). Significant experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry. Demonstrated experience supporting early-stage clinical development, including Phase I and/or Phase II clinical studies. Strong understanding of clinical trial design, clinical development strategy, and regulatory requirements. Ability to influence cross-functional teams through scientific expertise and strategic thinking. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading or supporting clinical development strategy for innovative therapeutics. Specialist physician with expertise in Neurology . Experience designing first-in-human, proof-of-concept, or other early-stage clinical studies. Broad scientific knowledge with the ability to contribute across multiple therapeutic areas. Previous consulting experience or success working in project-based environments. Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working on complex scientific and clinical initiatives.
