Job Title- Cloud Engineer Location-Remote Job Summary We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions while supporting automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Configure and manage virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and cloud services. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and cost optimization. Implement security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance best practices. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues. Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support application deployments. Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and operating systems (Linux and/or Windows). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep templates). Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and logging tools. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud-native services and serverless architectures. Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana. Experience with cost optimization and cloud governance. Understanding of disaster recovery and high-availability architectures. Desired Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
