Role : Azure Cloud Engineer Location: 100% Remote Contract role What is in it for you? Azure Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in infrastructure automation, secure architecture design, and advanced monitoring using IaC, Azure services, and observability tools. Responsibilities: - Develop Design, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure ensuring secure and scalable deployments. Implement and operate core Azure services including compute, networking, and identity access management. Build secure, private-by-default architectures and manage secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or Terraform, ensuring reusable, modular, and policy-compliant templates. Support multi-environment deployments across Dev, Test, and Prod using CI/CD pipelines. Enable observability by configuring Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL-based insights, and create dashboards to improve monitoring efficiency and reduce noise. Skills: - Mandatory skills Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platform and services
Knowledge of Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and RBAC Experience with Azure networking concepts including VNETs, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS Hands-on experience with Azure compute services such as AKS, App Services, and Azure Functions Experience implementing secure, private-by-default architecture Experience managing secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or Terraform Ability to build reusable, modular, and secure IaC templates Experience supporting multi-environment deployments Integration of IaC with Azure DevOps pipelines Strong experience in Azure monitoring and observability Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL queries Experience in creating dashboards to enhance signal quality and reduce noise Good to Have Skills Experience optimizing monitoring strategies and ing frameworks Exposure to cloud governance and policy enforcement Show more Show less
