Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, performing manual labor, and supporting skilled tradespeople. Responsibilities * Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites * Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, caulking, and demolition * Support carpenters, plumbers, welders, and other tradespeople on-site * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans * Perform tasks related to flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration projects * Apply construction painting techniques as needed * Aid in the installation of plumbing systems and other mechanical components * Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment * Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project Skills * Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools * Prior construction experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential * Knowledge of carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics, and construction painting is a plus * Familiarity with caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, and restoration work is advantageous * Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team * Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods * Good communication skills and attention to detail This position provides valuable on-the-job training in various aspects of construction work.
