Unit 11 Inc (Custom Millwork Shop) ? Toronto, ON We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager located in Toronto. We build museums, science centres, luxury sky resorts, public art installations, film and television sets, pop-up shops, fashion events, corporate events and live stage productions. The Construction Project Manager will support the entire project life-cycle from initiation through completion, and will act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal production personnel. The CPM plays the critical role of coordinating all activities for a successful production from quoting, design development, production management, budget and schedule control and oversight, and installation / logistic coordination and execution. Job Responsibilities include: · Overseeing completion of projects from assisting with quotations to completion of installations · Create project sales estimates, change orders, budgets, and production / milestone schedules · Manage all primary lines of communication with the client and co-ordinate all project meetings · Oversee design development and liaison as needed between technical designers and fabricators · Source materials / vendors, create purchase orders, and track receipt of materials / services · Coordinate procurement of all vendors and construction materials / purchases for projects · Assist with the review and negotiation of contractual arrangements with clients and suppliers · Create, monitor, assess, and report on project budget regularly alongside decision making · Hiring and coordinating of all subcontractors activities and supervisor their performance · Oversee onsite installation and coordination of all associated logistics · Obtain client signs offs, ensuring customer satisfaction and completion of any deficiencies ·Preparing all reporting as applicable, close out documents, and as-is build packages Skills / Qualifications Required: · 1- 3 years experience as a Project Manager/ Coordinator in a custom fabrication environment · Experience managing custom build projects with values of $100,000+ · Strong knowledge of various materials and their possible build applications · Ability to read blue prints / build drawings and utilize CAD/ Sketchup programs · Construction fabrication and installation experience for custom build projects · Excellent working knowledge, MS excel, MS word, MS office and MS powerpoint · Comfortability with learning new software and private erp system · Efficient interpersonal and time management skills · Excellent oral and written communication skills · High level of organization and attention to details ·Working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines ·Ability to travel for installations and site work Pay: $38.50-$52.50 per hour Application question(s): * Do you have 1- 3 years experience as a Project Manager/ Coordinator in a custom fabrication environment? * Do you have Experience managing custom build projects with values of $100,000+? * Are you comfortable with learning new software and private erp system? * Do you have excellent oral and written communication skills? * Can you work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight-deadlines?
