The Ministry of Community Safety is seeking dedicated individuals for a rewarding career as a Correctional Officer at Saskatoon Correctional Centre. Candidates must be able to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, professionalism, and public service excellence. Applicants should have knowledge of the Canadian criminal justice system and human behaviour, along with the ability to assess risk and apply legislation, policies, and procedures. A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence (or equivalent), valid First Aid and CPR/AED certification, and education in social sciences, law enforcement, or a related field are required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Successful candidates will complete a paid 11-week Induction Training Program.
