Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst (Remote - USA) Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to protect our organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and implementing security best practices across the enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for potential threats and suspicious activities. Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts. Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies. Perform security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews. Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to strengthen the organization's security posture. Analyze logs and security events using SIEM tools. Assist with incident response planning, testing, and execution. Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Prepare security reports and provide recommendations to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related role. Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, or LogRhythm. Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and security monitoring. Experience with vulnerability management and security assessment tools. Understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and SOC 2. Knowledge of cloud security concepts in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
