Senior Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst 📍 New York, NY 🏢 Global Investment Bank (Client Confidential) 💼 Contract Opportunity 🕒 Full-Time We are currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst to join a leading global financial institution in New York City, Manhattan The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting critical infrastructure, enhancing incident response capabilities, and collaborating with stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, and business teams. Please note: This position will be onsite 5 days per week initially, transitioning to a hybrid model after the onboarding period. Responsibilities • Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents across enterprise environments • Analyze security alerts from SIEM, DLP, phishing, threat intelligence, and other security platforms • Conduct root cause analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery activities • Perform threat hunting and identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) • Analyze endpoint, server, and network logs to support investigations • Collect and preserve digital evidence in support of incident investigations • Develop and maintain incident response documentation, procedures, and playbooks • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance initiatives Required Qualifications • 5+ years of Cybersecurity, Incident Response, SOC, or Threat Detection experience • Strong hands-on experience with security incident investigations • Experience with SIEM platforms, threat intelligence, phishing investigations, and DLP technologies • Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, and log analysis • Experience performing threat hunting and forensic investigations What You'll Gain • Opportunity to work with a globally recognized financial institution • Exposure to enterprise-scale cybersecurity operations and incident response • High-impact role supporting critical business and security initiatives • Collaborative environment with strong career growth potential if you're interested in learning more, please apply directly Show more Show less
