Cybersecurity Analyst (SOC) | 24/7 Security Operations $60,000 plus benefits Protect. Investigate. Respond. We're seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join a high-performing Security Operations Centre (SOC) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in defending critical environments against evolving cyber threats, working alongside experienced security professionals in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you'll be responsible for monitoring security events, investigating potential threats, and supporting incident response activities across complex enterprise environments. You'll combine technical expertise with strong analytical skills to identify suspicious activity, mitigate risks, and help continuously improve security operations. What You'll Be Doing Monitor SIEM platforms and other security monitoring tools for potential threats and security incidents. Perform Level 2 investigation, triage, and response activities for security alerts and incidents. Analyse logs, events, and threat intelligence to identify malicious activity and emerging risks. Escalate significant security incidents in accordance with established procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed incident documentation and case records. Support the administration and maintenance of security monitoring and operational security tools. Monitor and troubleshoot security platform health and performance. Contribute to the development and enhancement of SOC runbooks, procedures, and operational documentation. Assist with maintaining technical and security architecture documentation. Stay current with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and industry best practices. Provide recommendations to engineering and infrastructure teams to improve detection capabilities and reduce false positives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall security posture. What We're Looking For Essential Experience Minimum 3 years' experience within cybersecurity, security operations, or incident response. Hands-on experience working with SIEM solutions and security monitoring platforms. Experience investigating security alerts and responding to cyber incidents. Understanding of vulnerability management tools, processes, and remediation workflows. Knowledge of network security technologies, including: Firewalls IDS/IPS solutions Endpoint security tools Security monitoring technologies Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and common system vulnerabilities. Experience with log analysis, event correlation, threat investigation, and root cause analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
