We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Mid professional to support cloud security initiatives within enterprise cloud environments. This role focuses on assessing security risks, defining security requirements, and implementing secure cloud solutions throughout the system development lifecycle. The selected candidate will collaborate with cloud architects, engineering, and infrastructure teams, providing technical expertise and guidance on cloud security matters. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance Required Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens ONLY due to legal or government contract requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct risk assessments and provide security recommendations for cloud-based application and infrastructure designs. Analyze and define security requirements within cloud environments to ensure compliance with organizational and federal standards. Support the development, integration, and implementation of cloud network security solutions. Perform vulnerability and risk analyses of cloud infrastructure and tenant applications across all phases of the system development lifecycle. Act as a technical point of escalation for security-related incidents and concerns. Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to implement secure cloud solutions. Document security assessments, findings, and recommendations for mitigation. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or information assurance roles. Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and cloud security solution implementation. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional technical teams in a security-focused environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with secure cloud architecture and network security design. Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and security monitoring platforms. Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices. Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements and cloud security best practices. Certifications IAT Level II required. One or more cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI) preferred.
