Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will collect, process, and interpret data to uncover insights, support strategic decision-making, and improve business performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to support business decisions Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations to stakeholders Automate recurring reports and improve data workflows Present findings to technical and non-technical teams in a clear manner Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance compliance Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field 2–5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation Knowledge of statistics, data modeling, and data cleaning techniques Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI platforms Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Basic understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics Experience in industries like fintech, healthcare, SaaS, e-commerce, or marketing analytics Experience working in distributed or remote teams Show more Show less
