Cannabis Budtender / Delivery Driver Pay: $20.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Location: Barrhaven, Ottawa, ON Job Description Go Green Cannabis is looking for an experienced Cannabis Budtender / Delivery Driver to join our retail team. This is a hybrid position combining in-store budtender responsibilities with local cannabis deliveries. When not completing deliveries, you will work on the sales floor assisting customers, processing transactions and supporting the day-to-day operation of the store. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable about cannabis, provides excellent customer service, is dependable and professional, and is comfortable completing local deliveries using their own vehicle. Responsibilities * Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service * Assist customers with cannabis product selection * Complete retail transactions using the POS system * Maintain product displays and restock inventory and supplies * Maintain store cleanliness and organization * Complete opening and closing duties as scheduled * Assist with receiving shipments and inventory counts * Prepare and verify delivery orders before leaving the store * Complete assigned local deliveries safely and efficiently * Verify customer identification and eligibility as required * Maintain required delivery records and documentation * Handle cannabis products and payments securely * Communicate delivery delays, customer issues or other problems to management * Return to regular sales-floor responsibilities after completing deliveries * Report inventory discrepancies, incidents and compliance concerns to management * Follow all company policies and applicable cannabis retail and delivery requirements Qualifications * Valid CannSell Certification required * Minimum 1 year cannabis retail sales experience required * Minimum 2 years retail sales experience preferred * Valid Ontario driver's licence required * Must have reliable access to a personal vehicle for deliveries * Must be legally permitted and appropriately insured to use the vehicle for required work-related deliveries * Pre-employment Criminal Record Check required * Strong knowledge of cannabis products and a willingness to continually learn * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Professional and diplomatic when dealing with customers * Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented * Able to work independently while completing deliveries * Able to work effectively as part of a retail team * Comfortable handling products, payments and customer information responsibly * Able to troubleshoot and remain calm during busy periods * Flexible availability based on the needs of the business Compensation * $20.00 per hour for all scheduled retail and delivery work * Drivers use their own personal vehicle for deliveries * Drivers are responsible for their own fuel and vehicle costs * No mileage, vehicle or fuel reimbursement * Drivers keep all additional customer tips received on deliveries * Store discount * Casual dress * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Schedule Flexible shifts may include: * Days * Evenings * Weekdays * Weekends * Holidays Day and evening availability is required.
