Position Title: Delivery Driver - FT DaysReports To: Lead Delivery & Fleet Coordinator, General Manager, or DesignateEmployment Status: Full-TimeLocation: 1364 Main Street, Winnipeg, MBHours of Work: Full-time day shifts, primarily weekdays, with weekends, statutory holidays, catering events, andoperational peak periods as requiredCompensation: $18.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience and internal pay structureShelly's Indigenous Bistro is an Indigenous-owned and operated restaurant offering takeout, delivery, catering, andcommunity-based food services. Our team is committed to providing quality food, respectful customer service, safe foodhandling, and a welcoming environment that reflects the values of Shelly's Indigenous Bistro.Position Summary- The Delivery Driver - Days is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of food orders for takeout, delivery,catering, and special events. This full-time role supports daily delivery operations, catering transportation, order staging,packaging, and operational assistance during non-delivery periods.- During non-delivery periods, the Delivery Driver supports operational efficiency through order staging, packaging,restocking, cleaning support, and light operational assistance as directed.Core ResponsibilitiesDeliver food orders safely, accurately, and on timeVerify order accuracy and completeness prior to departureMaintain proper food temperature and packaging integrity during transportProvide professional and culturally respectful customer service at delivery locationsFollow delivery routes efficiently and safelyDrive in accordance with all traffic laws, company expectations, and safe driving practicesMaintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concernsSupport catering setup, transport, and event drop-offsCarry and transport food trays, catering pans, and boxed orders safely to delivery sitesAssist with order packaging and staging during non-delivery periodsPortion sauces, condiments, and side items as directedRestock takeout supplies and packaging materialsSupport light prep and organizational tasks under kitchen supervision, excluding cooking duties unless trained andauthorizedMaintain cleanliness of delivery staging areasAssist with daily operational organization, supply restocking, and delivery coordinationCommunicate delivery delays, customer concerns, or order issues promptlyFollow all workplace, food safety, and operational standardsJob Description - Delivery Driver - DaysSupport teamwork and assist other departments when operationally requiredPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications & ExperienceValid Manitoba driver's licence requiredClean driver's abstract requiredPrevious delivery or customer service experience is an assetPrevious restaurant, catering, or food service experience is an assetStrong time management and reliabilityProfessional communication skillsAbility to work independently and follow directionStrong sense of responsibility and safe driving practicesAbility to provide respectful service to customers, clients, community members, and team membersReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work full-time day shifts, weekdays, weekends, statutory holidays, catering events, and operational peak periodsas requiredTraining & Certification RequirementsValid Manitoba driver's licenceClean driver's abstract required upon hireManitoba Food Handler Certification required or willingness to obtain upon hireWHMIS Certification is considered an assetMust participate in all required workplace safety, food safety, delivery, and operational trainingEmployment Requirements & Working Conditions- A three (3) month probationary period applies.
