Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for promoting oral health. In this role, you will perform dental cleanings, patient education, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental practice. Duties * Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. * Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and precision. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software. * Manage sterilization of dental instruments and ensure adherence to infection control protocols. * Provide support in pediatric dentistry and orthodontic cases as needed. * Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring a positive experience. Requirements * Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state or regional regulations. * Prior experience working in a dental office setting, with proficiency in dental assisting procedures preferred. * Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental practice management software. * Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. * Excellent communication skills combined with strong customer service orientation. * Experience working with pediatric patients and understanding of pediatric dental care principles is a plus.
