DevOps Engineer

Remote — Part-time Location: Tysons, VA Summary We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure. You will work closely with our development team to deploy and operate our systems, help automate and streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable infrastructure Deploy and operate our systems Help automate and streamline our operations and processes Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments Collaborate with our development team to bring new features and services into production Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability Ensure security and compliance of our infrastructure Document and share knowledge with the team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk Experience with version control systems such as Git Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Professional development opportunities Flexible work schedule Remote work options
