Community Director:Are you passionate about seeing youth engaged in healthy community, experiencing meaning and purpose in the present, and looking forward to a future filled with hope and overflowing with possibility? We are currently seeking to fill a number of Ministry Director vacancies in communities across Central Ontario and Muskoka.Key Requirements:Pursuing a vital spiritual life as a devoted follower of Jesus ChristA faithful and contributing member of a local churchPossessing a creative, entrepreneurial, and context-sensitive approach to ministry (this is our ?secret sauce?!)Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills (also a key ingredient to the ?sauce?! )Willing and able to work evenings and weekends for programs or eventsAble to work both independently and collaboratively within teamsThe flexibility to work evenings and weekends for designated programs or eventsStrong computer, organizational, time management, and administrative skillsExperience in supervision, fundraising and community outreach7-12 years of experienceAbout Youth Unlimited YFC HighlandsDaily we strive to connect with youth ? across Central Ontario and Muskoka, on the ground or on the Net. A Community Director plays a key role in developing and maintaining programs for youth, building community partnerships and staying connected to the youth. The starting salary range for this staff position is $44,000 to $48,000. It is determined on a scale based on education and experience (7-12 years). It is 100% funded on a missionary basis?requiring the successful applicant to develop a network of ministry partners for funding and support purposes. Benefits are available.
