We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our kitchen team at our South Landing location in Oak Bluff. Position Summary The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This individual will be responsible for washing dishes, sanitizing food preparation areas, assisting with cleaning duties, and supporting kitchen staff as required. Responsibilities * Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment * Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen * Sweep and mop floors as required * Remove garbage and recycling * Assist with receiving and storing deliveries * Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed * Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety procedures * Perform other cleaning and kitchen support duties as assigned Qualifications * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Reliable transportation to Oak Bluff is an asset * Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required * Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed What We Offer * Competitive hourly wage * Staff discounts * Opportunity for advancement within the company * Supportive team environment * Full-time and part-time opportunities available Location De Luca Specialty Foods Cooking School & Restaurant Ltd. 66 South Landing Drive Oak Bluff, Manitoba R4G 0C4 Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Store discount Ability to commute/relocate: * Oak Bluff, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person
