This primarily includes cleaning and disinfecting patient and public areas, general office cleaning, carbolizing beds and performing all other related duties required of the housekeeping department. Other duties could include scrubbing and refinishing floors and operating housekeeping equipment and machinery.Job DemandsBy applying for this job, you acknowledge an understanding that regular requirements and demands of this job include (but are not limited to):Regularly lifts/moves objects/supplies between 10-25 lbs., and occasionally between 22 - 44 lbs.Regularly uses body movement to bend, crouch, kneel and reach, as well as frequent standing/walking and firm grasping. Uses, pushes, and pulls with medium forces with firm grasping automatic and manual cleaning equipment. Regularly completes repetitive tasks requiring attentiveness and alertness when handling various chemicals used for cleaning.Job QualificationsGraduation from high school or equivalent.Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively.Demonstrated strong customer service skills. A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
