The role involves building and enhancing backend systems using .NET/C# , while contributing to financial domains such as Treasury, Operations, Accounting, or Compliance . The developer will be responsible for designing scalable services, optimizing existing workflows, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, domain‑driven solutions. Requirement of the role: Applications are only limited to U.S. Citizens — no other work visa categories. Preference for candidates based in Stamford, Connecticut. Hybrid work with 3 days per week onsite in the Stamford office. Experience: 5–9 years Background in FS (Financial Services/ Fintech operations) (1) DOT NET DEVELOPER ( This profile is core backend) Must-Haves : Strong .NET / C# object‑oriented programming Blazor , DevExpress front‑end exposure (Nice‑to‑have) Domain Experience (must have one of the below with hedge funds/ asset management) 1-Treasury: Margin, financing costs, optimization, locates 2-Operations: Post‑trade reconciliations Affirmations, break resolutions Dispute processes, allocations Note: No trader or PM‑facing responsibilities 3-Accounting 4-Compliance (2) DOT NET + AWS DEVELOPER ( This profile is more backend/infra-heavy) Must-Haves : .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL, Postgres, Kubernetes Cloud and DevOps: AWS or Azure, Terraform , GitOps, CI/CD ( Jenkins and GitLab) , Azure DevOps Comfortable with CLI on Linux & Windows Cloud architecture: Cloud‑native microservices, Messaging/queues, REST APIs, Kafka, SQS , etc. Soft & Collaboration Skills: Strong troubleshooting & debugging Works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications Nice-to-Have: Back‑office experience building financial apps for hedge funds/ asset management Additional information: Annual Pay Range (Total compensation in USD): $130,000 - $150,000 The ranges shown above represent a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient.
