early childhood educator (ECE) assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team from September in our before/ after school care program working with School Aged Children (5 - 10 years old children). The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children to create a nurturing and safe environment. Duties - Plan activities that meet the individual needs of each child - Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow - Communicate effectively with parents Requirements - Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate - Clear Criminal Record Check, 3 references, Emergency Child Care First Aid - Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting - Strong communication skills - Experience working with children in a childcare setting - Be familiar with the early learning framework and able to implement in the program Location: 1040 Riverside Dr, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 8A7(Please do not go to the school) *Hours: *7 - 8:45 am & 2:30 - 5 pm OR 2:30 - 5 pm (school days) *Wage: *$20 per hour (will be more depending on experience) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Licence/Certification: * Early Childhood Assistant Certificate (required) Work Location: In person
