As an Electrical Engineer (Mine Hoist), you will be part of Spencer Engineering, a division of BESTECH and Englobe, working alongside a team of specialized engineers, designers, technologists, and project professionals to deliver innovative solutions for mine hoisting systems across North America. You will contribute to the design, assessment, modernization, and commissioning of critical mining infrastructure while developing expertise in a highly specialized engineering field. Your main responsibilities Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety policies, procedures, and culture; Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and assessments related to mine hoisting and industrial electrical systems; Prepare and review electrical designs, technical specifications, drawings, and engineering deliverables in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and client requirements; Participate in field investigations, site inspections, condition assessments, and data collection activities; Develop practical engineering solutions and recommendations for maintenance, modernization, and rehabilitation projects; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, designers, technologists, and project managers; Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and field implementation activities for mine hoisting systems; Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, engineering studies, proposals, and client presentations; Coordinate project activities with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery; Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality management activities; Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when required; Support business development initiatives by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for future work. What makes you unique Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university; Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for professional registration in Canada. Candidates working toward licensure may also be considered; Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering, industrial systems, mining, heavy industrial, power systems, or a related field; Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, industry standards, codes, and regulations; Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation; Familiarity with AutoCAD and related engineering design software; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment; Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities; Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement; Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughou
