Overview We are seeking a Licensed Electrician with a valid 309A licence with 1- 2 years of work experience as a Licenced Electrician. Must have a valid drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract. Working from Heights valid certificate. Must be able to work well in a team environment with commitment to safety in the workplace. Strong written, oral communication and organization skills. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work. Our scope of work includes Reno's and new Custom High-end builds for residential and commercial projects in the Muskoka/Haliburton region. Responsibilities * Installation of wiring and electrical components in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and Electrical Safety Authority standards. * Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation * Knowledge of Lutron is an asset * Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and inspect electrical systems, equipment to identify hazards and systems with the ability to repair and correct issues * Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to coordinate electrical work within project timelines,ensure work completed meets site drawings and building codes and Company standards * Manage inventory of material and ensure that the accurate billing of time and material to clients * Must follow & remain up to date with Electrical Safety Authority and Ontario Building Code change. Requirements * Valid as a Licensed Electrician with relevant local or national certification * Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams * Ability to interpret technical drawings related to renovation projects or new installations. * Proof of Clean Driving Record * Strong written, oral communication and organization skills * Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work * Willingness to learn and pursue ongoing education Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour Application question(s): * At this time we are only considering candidates that are residing in Huntsville or within 50km commute of Huntsville.
