Eitz Chaim Schools (Girls Division), an Orthodox Jewish Day School for girls, is seeking applicants for a General Studies teacher (Junior Division) beginning September 2026. Candidates must have the following qualifications and skills: * Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) member in good standing or equivalent teacher certification * Knowledge of Ontario curriculum in applicable subject areas * Excellent classroom management * Professionalism, flexibility, collaborative nature * Excellent communication skills * Drive for lifelong learning and growth The following training and demonstrated competencies would be an asset: * Teaching experience, ideally in a similar school setting * Having a deep understanding of suitable pedagogies with relevance to various learning styles * Experience in implementing student-centred, interactive, and collaborative learning * Ability to capably assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback * Experience collaborating with other teachers, support staff, parents, and administration Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $35,000.00-$48,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Education: * Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: * teaching: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Ontario College of Teachers certification (required)
