Embedded Software Engineer

Essential Functions Of The Job (Key Duties) Meet development schedule and software performance per requirements. Adhere to software development processes including code reviews. Support design validation team in test plan reviews. Problem resolution through 8D, 5-Why techniques. Take designs from concept, to requirements, code, test, and production release. Develop and execute SW integration and unit level plan & testing. Qualifications (Education And Experience) B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (M.S. preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in software design and development Proficiency in CANopen protocol, tools and certification Knowledge of MISRA coding standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Excellent communications and interpersonal skills – position requires strong interaction with multi-functional team Knowledge in CAN J1939 is a plus
