Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities * Conduct site investigations, including soil sampling and laboratory testing, to gather essential geotechnical data * Analyze subsurface conditions using advanced modeling techniques and geotechnical software tools * Prepare detailed reports, technical memos, and project documentation to communicate findings clearly and effectively * Assist in designing foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks by applying principles of soil mechanics and system design * Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and construction teams to develop practical solutions that meet safety and regulatory standards * Utilize AutoCAD for drafting schematics, cross-sections, and construction details related to geotechnical designs * Support project management activities such as scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery Requirements * Bachelor?s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnics, or a related field; a Master?s degree is preferred * Proven experience in geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and fieldwork * Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to soil-structure interaction and ground improvement techniques * Proficiency in geotechnical software tools such as PLAXIS or GeoStudio for modeling and analysis * Knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD for creating detailed schematics and drawings * Familiarity with programming languages like Python or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting purposes * Experience with construction practices, systems engineering principles, and project management methodologies * Hands-on laboratory experience with soil testing procedures is highly desirable * Excellent data collection skills coupled with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately * Strong research capabilities to stay current with emerging geotechnical methods and standards Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to innovative ground engineering solutions.
