Job Description: Engineer, Senior Corporate Release Engineering Seeking a full-stack web development engineer to join the Corporate Release Engineering team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will work individually, and as part of a team, to develop database-driven web applications, project dashboards, and provide specialized scripts/tools/automation that will be used by engineering teams across the company. The ideal candidate is motivated, willing to learn/adopt new technologies, and strives to solve problems within a collaborative environment. Designing and implementing an end result that provides improvements/enhancements to new or existing applications/tools. Solutions will include unique methods to present data in various ways, including but not limited to, customized dashboards pulling from data from multiple inhouse systems, reporting features to improve project performance, and integrating challenging approaches for programs to be able to provide forecasting and other results. Required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on development experience Excellent communication, documentation, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills Experience in scripting and automation languages (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, Python) Experience with multiple operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows), relational databases, and SQL. Linux command line knowledge Familiarity with web servers such as nginx, Apache, Node, and Tomcat Analysis, debugging, and problem solving skills Able to convey complex and detailed information to multiple audiences Work directly with projects/teams to discuss open issues/technical solutions, give demos/presentations, determine use cases/requirements, address bugs/issues, and determine new action items Proactively communicate, track, and prioritize tasking in an organized, coherent manner Must be a team player and willing to take on opportunities/challenges as they come up Preferred Qualifications & Skills: 2-4 years of hands-on development experience Strong experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PHP, Javascript, Python) Strong experience in front end platforms such as Django and Express Strong experience with web servers such as nginx, Apache, Node, and Tomcat Experience with Redis, Kubernetes, and Jenkins Comments for Suppliers: Show more Show less
