ERP Developer (Microsoft D365 Business Central)

Role: ERP Developer (Microsoft D365 Business Central) Location: Woodridge, IL If you want to have a hands-on highly impactful role, we want you to join our team as an ERP Developer. This is a full-time position based in Woodridge, IL located just outside of Chicago. Primary Function: The ERP Developer will be responsible for the administration, analysis, development and user support for Microsoft's Business Central. This techno-functional role will work with all levels of management and process owners (Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Production, Shipping, Graphics & Marketing) to manage strategic and operational aspects of Business Central with a focus on system administration & configuration, development, and technical issue resolution. Responsibilities · Design, develop, configure, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions to support evolving business needs. · Configure the platform using standard capabilities wherever possible while limiting unnecessary custom development. · Support and maintain integrations between Business Central and other enterprise applications, ensuring reliable data exchange and system performance. · Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. · Administer ERP-related third-party applications and assist with ongoing optimization efforts. · Troubleshoot application issues, resolve technical problems, and provide support for ERP users. · Develop technical documentation, participate in testing efforts, and support production releases. · Create reports, dashboards, and automation solutions that improve operational visibility and business processes. · Partner with internal teams and external vendors to maintain and enhance the ERP environment. Qualifications · Experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments. · Strong knowledge of Business Central configuration, customization, and extension development. · Experience integrating Business Central with other business applications and Microsoft technologies. · Proficiency with SQL and reporting/automation tools such as Power BI or Power Automate. · Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or ongoing enhancements is preferred. · Business Central certifications are a plus.
