Central Zone is seeking a permanent full-time Family Medicine Physician for the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre in Baie Verte, NL.Central Zone is the second largest health zone in NL Health Services, serving approximately 90,000 people across 176 communities. The region extends from Charlottetown in the east, Fogo Island in the north, Harbour Breton in the south, to Baie Verte in the west ? encompassing more than half the total land mass of the island of Newfoundland.The successful candidate will provide Emergency, clinic, inpatient, and long-term care coverage at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, divided equally among the physicians at this site. After-hours, weekend, and statutory holiday on-call assignments are shared on an equitable basis.
