Western Zone is seeking 2 permanent full-time salaried Family Medicine Physicians to provide primary care services at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders, NL.The successful candidates will provide clinic coverage at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Emergency Room coverage, and Outreach Clinic coverage from Monday to Friday, divided equally among the salaried Family Physicians at this site. After-hours, weekend, and statutory holiday on-call assignments are shared on an equitable basis with the Family Physicians serving the community.The regional referral centre for Western Zone is Western Memorial Regional Hospital, a 164-bed facility serving a population of approximately 80,000 people.
