About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team at Framework Ventures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities within the blockchain and decentralized finance sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with industry experts, contribute to strategic decision-making, and gain comprehensive exposure to the venture capital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a passion for emerging technologies, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or related fields. Deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess market trends and company valuations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms such as Excel, SQL, or relevant analytics software. Self-starter with a proactive approach, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Responsibilities Conduct thorough market research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities within the blockchain and DeFi sectors. Analyze financial statements, business models, and technical aspects of prospective portfolio companies. Assist in the development of investment theses and strategic recommendations for the firm’s leadership. Support the deal sourcing process by building and maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders. Participate in negotiations and the drafting of term sheets, investment agreements, and other legal documentation. Monitor the performance of existing investments, providing ongoing analysis and reporting to the team. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and portfolio management to ensure seamless deal execution and management.
