Shifts Available: * * Day Shift (5:00am to 1:30pm - Monday to Friday) * Afternoon Shift (3:00pm to 11:30pm - Monday to Friday) * Night Shift (11:00pm to 7:30am - Sunday to Thursday) The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards. Position Responsibilities: * Load/unload trailers according to company procedures. * Identification of OS&D freight. * Completion of necessary documentation with care. * Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures. * Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned. Position Qualifications: * 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an asset. * 1-2 years previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred. * Ability to lift up to 50lbs * Cross dock experience is considered an asset. * Written and oral communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment. * Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
