About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our team at GrabJobs. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing and highly functional user-facing web applications. Your primary focus will be on creating responsive interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience across a variety of devices and browsers. This position involves close collaboration with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to support the company's digital presence and internal platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern front-end technologies, particularly Next.js, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance web applications that align with our strategic objectives. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end web development, demonstrating a robust portfolio of responsive, production-quality applications. They should have proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), along with hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js. A solid understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and SEO best practices is essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, responsive design principles, and cross-browser compatibility is required. The candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered. Candidates should have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Responsibilities Develop and maintain responsive web applications utilizing modern front-end technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability. Translate UI/UX designs into clean, accessible, and functional code that aligns with project specifications. Design, develop, and manage scalable web applications using the Next.js framework, focusing on delivering robust solutions. Implement and optimize web performance, SEO, and security features to enhance user experience and application reliability. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to create seamless and intuitive user interfaces. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all supported environments. Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple environments and devices, maintaining high code quality through best practices, peer reviews, testing, and documentation. Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and deliver innovative solutions.
