PHP Developer

Galen College of Nursing is looking for a Full‑Stack Web Application Developer to help build and support custom applications that power our students, faculty, and healthcare partners. What You’ll Do Build and maintain full‑stack web applications (backend, frontend, APIs, databases) Develop using MVC patterns (PHP or C#) Create and maintain APIs, web interfaces, and database structures Support and enhance existing internal applications Research and implement new technologies Provide Tier 2/3 support and assist with upgrades, migrations, and documentation Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders What We’re Looking For 5+ years of web/software development experience Server‑side experience in PHP or C# (PHP preferred; C# welcomed) Frontend experience with Angular or similar frameworks Strong skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and database tools Experience with GitHub or similar tools Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly Highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects Nice to Have Experience in higher education environments Familiarity with web security, architecture, and modern development practices Show more Show less
