Software Engineer - Full Stack $170,000 – $190,000 base + equity New York City (Hybrid/Onsite) We're partnering with a fast-growing consumer technology company building a large-scale digital marketplace used by millions of customers. Following strong product-market fit and continued growth, they're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help shape the next phase of their platform. This is an opportunity to own end-to-end product development, work across both frontend and backend, and build customer-facing features that have a direct impact on user experience and business growth. What you'll be working on: Building end-to-end features across high-traffic customer journeys Developing scalable frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript Building and enhancing backend services, APIs, and databases Improving application performance, reliability, and user experience Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver impactful features Contributing to architecture, testing, observability, and engineering best practices Helping shape reusable patterns and scalable solutions across the platform Tech Stack: React Next.js TypeScript Node.js PostgreSQL MongoDB AWS Tailwind CSS Playwright Datadog What they're looking for: 4+ years building production web applications Strong experience across both frontend and backend development Commercial experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and performance optimisation Product-focused mindset with a passion for building intuitive customer experiences Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment Nice to have: Experience within start-ups, scale-ups, marketplaces, or e-commerce Experience with Ruby on Rails or Node.js Experience working on high-traffic consumer applications Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices Compensation: $170,000 – $190,000 base salary Equity Comprehensive healthcare coverage Dental and vision insurance 401(k) plan Unlimited PTO Paid parental leave Equity ownership opportunity Collaborative, high-growth engineering environment Opportunity to make a significant impact as the company continues to scale If you're a Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building scalable products, solving complex technical challenges, and taking ownership of features from concept to deployment, we'd love to hear from you.
