Duration: 6+ Months Location: NJ-Camden, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market. Responsibilities Provide leadership and mentoring to Software Engineers, supporting a work environment that strives for production excellence and product improvement Evaluate programming project requests, determining feasibility by applying knowledge of systems and identifying opportunities to enhance current capabilities Provide leadership in the planning, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of applications that are identified as opportunities to enhance current capabilities Interview business stakeholders to define current operating procedures and clarify program objectives Employ structured analysis and design to build application specification documentation that includes flowcharts and diagrams to describe logical operations involved Provide knowledge and insight of the application and business of their respective area to other application and infrastructure teams Provide 24/7 production support Own integrations between internal systems and external Martech and other I.T. integrated platforms (Adobe Campaign, ERG and CRM systems, 3rd party SaaS providers) Migrate legacy middleware workflows into modern, secure AWS-based architectures Build and maintain cloud resources using AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/CDK) Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions (build, test, deploy) Contribute to front-end features using JavaScript frameworks (React) Perform modifications to code to correct errors Analyze programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements Create and maintain documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and modifications to correct errors Perform business analysis and participate in the facilitation of training Qualifications Bachelor's Degree BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required At least 4-6 years of professional software engineering experience required Capability to work independently; a self-starter who performs initiatives that provide solutions for business requirements with a logical approach to problem resolution Technical skills and experience to participate in the development and maintenance of business applications Strong project management and leadership skills to guide efforts of junior programmers Outstanding organizational, communication, and presentation skills Adaptable to ongoing changes in technology At least mid-level skills in the following technologies: Scripting Languages: Bash, Powershell Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) Familiarity with customer data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, or event-driven architectures Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (C2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/CDK) Strong experience building APIs with modern languages (REST APIs, Java and Spring Frameworks) Graph QL, SOAP/XML, Webhooks, and Authentication Protocols (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, Basic Auth, SAML) Knowledge of Data Formats (JSON, XML, CSV and Flat files) Understanding of tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Python + Flask/FastAPI/Django REST Understanding of Messaging Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) Middleware tools (Mulesoft, Apigee, Zapier, n8n, Workato) Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Developer AWS Certified DevOps Engineer The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
