Role Overview: The MSICU Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a critical care setting, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, compassionate treatment. They perform medical procedures, document care, and educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes. The nurse advocates for patients and contributes to quality improvement initiatives to enhance care outcomes. Responsibilities Perform procedures and monitor patient status as ordered, documenting care thoroughly. Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care, ensuring understanding. Promote health and lifestyle changes for disease prevention and self-management. Coordinate and evaluate personalized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Manage evidence-based practices to improve quality and patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree or Diploma. Critical care experience; acute care preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months. Strong communication, collaborative, and advocacy skills.
