Our challenge: We are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal AI, and advanced machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and cloud-based AI services to build innovative business applications. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Generative AI solutions using LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and Mistral. Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using vector databases. Develop AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, and intelligent automation solutions. Create and fine-tune prompts to improve AI model performance and response quality. Integrate AI models with enterprise applications through APIs and microservices. Design and deploy AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen. Work closely with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions. Implement monitoring, evaluation, and governance mechanisms for AI applications. Ensure compliance with Responsible AI, security, privacy, and ethical AI standards. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning. Requirements: Strong proficiency in Python programming. Hands-on experience with: OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI Service, Anthropic Claude, Google Vertex AI / Gemini Experience with GenAI frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI / AutoGen Knowledge of: Prompt Engineering, RAG Architecture, Vector Databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus), Embedding Models Experience in NLP, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning concepts. Familiarity with MLOps and AI deployment practices. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Experience with REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
