Description
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Golang Software Engineer to build and enhance a modern, microservices-based platform that powers customer loyalty and benefits experiences at scale. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment, delivering high-impact features and partnering with engineers across platforms to drive innovation and engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang or a similar type-safe backend language. Build and enhance features within a microservices architecture . Develop and integrate REST APIs and asynchronous messaging systems , such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Collaborate within a Scrum team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions. Contribute to system design, architectural decisions, and engineering best practices. Ensure code quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines . Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features and improvements. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least one type-safe backend programming language; Golang is preferred . Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. Experience developing RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a professional software development environment. Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and testing strategies, including unit, integration, and regression testing. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and BDD . Experience with technologies and tools such as: Golang Kafka PostgreSQL Docker gRPC GraphQL Git Jenkins Jira or Rally Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment, and continuous testing (CI/CD/CT) . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
