Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/woman to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across our Construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong hand on experiance in construction. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer service and safety are paramount. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Perform general carpentry, framing, drywall, and finishing work. * Install and repair doors, windows, trim, baseboards and hardware. * Complete drywall installation, taping, patching, sanding, and painting. * Assist with demolition, site preparation, and cleanup. * Perform basic electrical work, such as replacing switches, outlets, and light fixtures (where permitted by law). * Repair fences, decks, siding, roofing, and exterior finishes. * Assemble and install cabinets, shelving, and other fixtures. * Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment safely. * Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders. * Load, unload, and transport construction materials. * Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean worksite. * Identify safety hazards and follow all workplace health and safety regulations. * Assist project managers and skilled trades as required. * Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards. * Communicate professionally with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. * Perform other duties assigned by management. Requirements * Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields within manufacturing environments. * Supervising experience is preferred for leadership responsibilities. * Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and CMMS software. * Skilled in welding, electrical work, mechanical repairs, and general facilities maintenance. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment operation. * Strong mechanical knowledge combined with troubleshooting skills. * Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise maintenance activities confidently. * Flexibility to respond quickly to urgent repair needs while maintaining safety standards.
