THIS ROLE IS FOR CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA AND DIRECT SURROUNDING AREA ONLY Previous candidates need not apply Kasa Consulting, a full-service health and safety consulting and auditing company that services Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and Ontario, is currently looking to fill the role of a full-time Health and Safety Advisor. We are looking for an independent, positive, self-motivated and hardworking individual.The position requires between 2-5 years construction based health & safety experience. We are a forward-thinking organization seeking to provide our clients with reliable, valuable, and uncompromising service within the Health & Safety industry. Job Description: * Health and Safety Advisor * Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours a week, flexible hours generally Monday to Friday 8am ? 5pm * Location: Calgary based with some travel around Alberta, BC and SK. * Must be comfortable and willing to be on-site for clients, may include manufacturing, oil and gas, construction, or retail sites/shops/office. * Flexibility to work from home or office. * Salary: $25.00 ? $35.00 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Client facing consultation. * Health & Safety program management and implementation. * Policy and program assessment. * Gap analysis and action plan creation and management. * Perform on-site safety duties on behalf of clients including but not limited to inspections, incident investigation, performing audits, providing training and leading meetings. * Coordinate relevant training and awareness programs for clients. * Support incident investigation process and provide recommendations to address incident root causes where necessary. * Recommend appropriate procedures and equipment for safety and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. * Support client claims management processes and provide recommendations to improve recovery and return to work outcomes. * Implement, maintain, and update client contractor registries (ISNetworld, Contractor Check, ComplyWorks, Avetta, etc.) * Implement, maintain, and update electronic documents such as (SiteDocs and Work Hub, etc.) * Collaboration with colleagues across multiple industry types and requirements. * Promote, illustrate, and demonstrate a healthy and safe work environment in adherence with current legislation, health, and safety concerns and/or changes in the workplace. Knowledge and Skills: * Between 2-5 years construction based health & safety experience. * Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Strong public speaking skills * Project management skills * Dedication to teamwork and collaboration * Experience with construction health and safety is preferred * Safety designations such as CRSP, CRST or NSCO are preferred * Consideration will be given to individuals who hold External/Consultant Auditor Certifications (ESC, AASP, ACSA, AMHSA, AFPA, etc.) Must: * Be a current resident of Calgary or direct surrounding area * Have a current drivers license * Own a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to multiple locations within and outside of Calgary city limits Only candidates of interest will be contacted Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Vision care * Work from home Application question(s): * Do you have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle that will allow you to travel to and from the office and/or client worksites? * Do you live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada or the direct surrounding area?
