heavy equipment operator

Halow is seeking an experienced and reliable heavy equipment operator for projects throughout Northwestern Ontario. We are currently seeking a loader operator. This is a unionized position with pension and benefits, however non-unionized candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: * Perform daily circle check of equipment * Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company policies * Refuel, clean and lubricate equipment * Communicate with surveyors and supervisors * Other duties as required Qualifications: * Previous experience operating heavy equipment * Must be able to travel and work out of town, accommodations and meals are provided * Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and criminal background check * Valid Canadian driver's license We thank you for your interest, however only successful applicants will be contacted.
