heavy equipment operator

Job Overview Looking for someone with experience with excavator/skidsteer with water and sewer experience. Having an Air brakes ticket or a class 1 license would be great. Looking for someone who can also get out the the machine and help with installs of pipe, final grades etc and preform basic maintenance. Duties * Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loader, skidsteer steer, trucks * Dig up utilitys, preform fine grade work, drive equipment/ materials to site * Drive commercial vehicles to transport materials between sites or to designated locations * Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on heavy equipment to ensure optimal operation * Assist with maintenance activities including minor automotive repairs when necessary * Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times * Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines Requirements * Proven experience operating heavy machinery including forklifts and other construction equipment * Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory * Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in industrial settings * Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for maintaining equipment functionality * Ability to operate equipment safely in various weather conditions and terrains * Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to follow instructions accurately * Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required * Prior experience in industrial or construction environments is highly desirable Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off * Paid vacation * Vision care Work Location: On the road
