Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Support Workers to provide essential in-home care and assistance to individuals in need. This role is vital in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients across various stages of life and health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisted living, patient care, or senior care, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on clients? lives through personalized support and caregiving services. Duties * Assist clients with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals * Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences * Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment * Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary * Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation * Assist with medical appointments or errands as needed * Monitor clients? health status and report any concerns to healthcare providers or family members * Implement specialized care plans for individuals with dementia, disabilities, or hospice needs Requirements * Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, senior care, hospice care, or home care preferred * Knowledge of patient care techniques and caregiving best practices * Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or dementia requiring specialized attention * Strong caregiving skills including medication administration and meal preparation * Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support * Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills * Ability to work independently while following care plans and safety protocols * Valid driver?s license is a plus for transportation duties but not mandatory Join our team if you are committed to providing high-quality home support services that enhance the quality of life for those in need.
