Location: Barrhead, AB Employment Type: Casual Compensation: Approximately $18/hour Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and is committed to supporting the health and well-being of others. Key Responsibilities ? Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces. ? Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures. ? Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents, staff, and visitors. ? Respond effectively to changing priorities and requests. ? Work collaboratively with residents, management, and support staff. ? Adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Qualifications ? Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience preferred. ? Experience in a senior care or healthcare environment is considered a strong asset. ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. ? Effective communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment. Requirements Physical Requirements This position may require: ? Lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. ? Extended periods of walking and standing. ? Use of cleaning equipment and PPE as required. Requirements ? Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check in accordance with applicable legislation. ?
