Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisorto assist our Director of Housekeeping. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and coordinate with staff to deliver exceptional service. Duties * Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of all areas * Conduct regular inspections of facilities to uphold cleanliness standards and identify maintenance needs * Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of cleaning tools and equipment * Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, and equipment, including hand tools, custodial supplies * Oversee the safe operation of facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs using hand tools and power tools * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all cleaning and maintenance activities * Communicate effectively with staff, management, and other departments to address issues promptly and improve service quality Experience * Proven housekeeping experience in a supervisory or lead role * Strong understanding of WHIMIS * Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or equipment * Prior experience in managing teams, training staff, or coordinating cleaning schedules is highly desirable * Prior Union experience desired Pay: $18.41-$29.83 per hour Work Location: In person
