About Our Opportunity As a Fisheries Inspector (Intelligence), you will play a key role in the Province's intelligence-led compliance and enforcement program. Reporting to the Fisheries Compliance and Enforcement Supervisor, you will collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence to support investigations, inspections, audits, and enforcement initiatives across Nova Scotia's fisheries sector. This position combines intelligence analysis, regulatory compliance, investigations, records auditing, and enforcement activities. You will work closely with Fisheries Inspectors and a wide range of provincial, federal, and law enforcement partners to identify emerging risks, uncover organized illegal activity, and support strategic enforcement priorities. The Fisheries Inspector (Intelligence) holds the necessary appointments (e.g., Inspector, Special Constable).
