Internal Medicine Physician
Description
Company: WardlyAI Website: https://www.wardlyai.com/ About WardlyAI WardlyAI is building the clinical visit preparation layer for modern outpatient care. Today, clinicians enter visits without a complete picture of the patient. Critical context is scattered across EHR data, referrals, labs, prior encounters, and patient narratives, forcing physicians to manually reconstruct the clinical story in minutes. WardlyAI solves this by preparing every visit before it begins. Our platform ingests clinical records, referrals, and external data; engages patients before the appointment through clinically trained voice AI; synthesizes longitudinal patient context; and delivers a structured visit brief with evidence-grounded clinical insights directly into the EHR. The result is a more prepared clinician, a more supported patient, and a more focused, accurate encounter. WardlyAI is backed by South Park Commons, Conscious Venture Lab, Physician Executives, and Healthcare leaders. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician Leader to join WardlyAI’s Board of Advisors and help guide the company through its next phase of growth. As an internal medicine expert, you intimately understand the heavy cognitive load of managing medically complex patients with multiple chronic comorbidities, extensive medication lists, and fragmented historical data. This is an opportunity to advise an early-stage health technology company at the intersection of AI, clinical workflow, outpatient care, voice AI, EHR integration, and value-based healthcare. Your insights will directly shape WardlyAI’s product strategy, clinical validation, go-to-market approach, enterprise partnerships, and fundraising narrative as we scale from early customer traction to broader adoption across independent primary care groups, multi-specialty practices, FQHCs, ACOs, and major health systems. Ideal Advisor Profile We are especially interested in an Internal Medicine specialist who brings: Clinical Leadership: Active or recent clinical practice in general internal medicine, outpatient primary care, or complex chronic disease management. Workflow Expertise: A deep, first-hand understanding of the daily friction points in internal medicine workflows (e.g., managing heavy patient panels, reviewing dense specialty care referrals, prepping for 15-minute visits, and tackling EHR documentation). Tech & Innovation Literacy: Experience with or strong interest in digital health, AI-driven clinical tools, data interoperability, and standard EHR workflows (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks). Strategic Vision: An understanding of how data-driven visit preparation impacts quality metrics, revenue cycle/billing efficiency, and value-based care outcomes. Key Responsibilities As an Internal Medicine Advisor on WardlyAI’s Board of Advisors, you may support the company by: Product & Workflow Advisory: Advising the leadership team on product strategy, clinical workflow design, and how to structure clinical visit briefs to match the cognitive workflow of an internist. Clinical Validation: Providing feedback on WardlyAI’s clinical visit brief, patient engagement voice AI workflows, and AI-synthesized, evidence-grounded clinical insights. Market & GTM Strategy: Helping refine WardlyAI’s evidence, ROI, and clinical impact narrative tailored to primary care, FQHC, ACO, and multi-specialty group decision-makers. Strategic Introductions: Making introductions to potential customers, pilots, clinical champions, strategic partners, investors, or other key healthcare advisors. Collaborative Feedback: Participating in periodic advisor calls with the founding team and serving as a credible external voice as WardlyAI builds trust with clinicians, customers, and partners. What We’re Looking For The strongest advisors will bring: Deep healthcare industry expertise and a strong professional network. Practical understanding of clinical operations, physician workflows, or healthcare technology adoption. Excitement about using AI to improve the quality and efficiency of outpatient visits (proactive visit preparation, not just documentation after the fact). Strong judgment around patient safety, clinician trust, and responsible AI deployment. Willingness to make targeted introductions when appropriate and provide candid, strategic advice to an early-stage founding team. Why Join WardlyAI is addressing one of the most important problems in healthcare: clinicians are expected to make high-quality decisions without enough time or complete context. By preparing every visit before it begins, WardlyAI has the potential to improve diagnostic clarity, reduce administrative burden, enhance patient experience, and transform the outpatient care workflow. Advisors will have the opportunity to help shape an early-stage company building a new category in clinical AI.
