iOS Software Engineer Remote (San Francisco based) What You'll Be Doing Build and maintain production-grade iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI Develop AI-powered experiences through backend APIs Design intuitive user experiences for streaming responses, loading states, retries and graceful fallbacks Optimise application performance, memory usage and battery efficiency Capture user feedback and behavioural signals to improve AI quality over time Partner closely with backend and machine learning engineers to shape APIs and product behaviour Deliver secure, scalable and highly reliable applications with App Store quality standards What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift Experience integrating AI capabilities into mobile applications Strong understanding of Swift Concurrency, async/await and background task management Excellent performance profiling and memory optimisation skills Experience shipping and supporting production iOS applications The ability to design for latency, partial failures and the unpredictable nature of AI systems Bonus points if you have experience with: SwiftUI Core ML or on-device machine learning Feature flags or remote configuration platforms Designing user experiences for AI products where trust, transparency and responsiveness are essential
