Job Description: Azure Cloud Architect for Data Management Platform The Data Management Platform (DMP) is a major initiative at *** that provides a platform for running analytics to support different business areas across the enterprise. DMP is built entirely on Azure services and over the years it has evolved into a very stable product. *** is looking to take advantage of improvements in technology and evolving requirements to enhance the platform for the future. We are looking for a Cloud Architect to help us take the Platform to the next level and enable our *** teams to leverage industry best practices. The Cloud Architect must have experience in technical architecture design, configuration, implementation and data migration for medium to large sized enterprise platforms. Core Technologies Azure Functions Python SQL Server Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Terraform Azure DevOps GitHub / GitHub Actions T-SQL and SQL stored procedures Azure Log Analytics Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Service Bus Azure Event Grid Azure App Insights Azure Kubernetes Service Azure Cosmos DB Key Responsibilities: Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions for DMP to meet *** business area requirements Technical lead for DMP coordinating with Platform, API, DevOps, and Ops & Support teams Provide technical guidance on technologies and architecture challenges Able to communicate technical roadmap/architecture to a broad set of users Comfortable working cross functionally with product management and *** teams Ability to deeply understand DMP and provide technical guidance in grooming backlog Review and provide feedback on core code changes and support production deployments Update security plan manager (SPM) for DMP and manage releases with team Provide tier 3 support - triage operational issues and assist Ops & Support team in troubleshooting Participate in team Scrum ceremonies Hands-on keyboard for product deliverable Show more Show less
